Pinnekjøtt

Pinnekjøtt or "mutton ribs" is a traditional Norwegian Christmas dinner based on lamb ribs. The preparation of pork chops is a mixture of curing and drying, and in some regions also smoking.



The dish is traditionally served with turnip and carrot puree, sausages and boiled potatoes. For many people, the obligatory drink is the most important; Aquavit and beer!
